The start number must be worn, clearly visible and unaltered, on the front side of the runner’s shirt. Runners who wish to participate in the marathon can be no younger than the age group of 1993. Liability:
Neither the host, the management, the sponsors, the city of Ulm or Neu-Ulm, nor their representatives take any liability for damages of any kind that have affected the participant from this event. This accounts for accidents, lost properties, or other matters. In particular, the organizers of this event will not take responsibility for any health related risks tied to this event. In the case of the event being cancelled or postponed, there cannot be a claim for a refund to the participant. The participant has the right of cancellation before the race, meaning that they could give their starting place to another person, or transfer their participation to next year. The organizer has no liability to refund the participant of their registration fee in such a situation.
Electronic Timing:
The timing of this event will be done specifically through the Mikatiming Real-Time-Champion-Chip. This chip must be fastened to the shoe! A participant’s race time will not be taken without a chip!
The timing chip can be purchased or it can be borrowed for the race. When borrowing such a chip, a deposit of 30€ must be placed for the chip at the race information distribution (chip cashpoint). Upon the return of the chip after the race, 25€ will be returned to the participant. If the runner decides to keep the chip, then it will be considered purchased and can be used in other races. The deposit will then be considered the payment for the purchase.
Participants who already own a Mikatiming Real-Time-Champion-Chip can use their chip for the Einstein Marathon. In this case, the runner must register with their correct chip number! For any unanswered questions about the Real-Time-Champion-Chip please contact Mika Timing GmbH Kürtenerstr. 11b, 51465 Bergisch Gladbach, Tel.: 02202-2401113, Internet: www.mikatiming.de
